Thera-Band Lower Body Exercises - Page 1

Calf Raises

With handles attached to both ends of exercise tubing, stand on center of tube with feet shoulder width apart.  Grasp handles at waist level.  Slowly rise up onto your toes.  Slowly return to start position and repeat.

Minisquats

Stand on center of tube with feet shoulder width apart.  Grasp exercise handles at shoulder level and slowly lower yourself until your knees are bent to 45 degrees.  Make sure that your knees stay behind the toes.  Slowly return to start position and repeat.

Squats

Stand on center of tube with feet should width apart.  Grasp exercise handles at shoulder level and slowly lower yourself until your thighs are parallel to the floor.  Make sure that your knees stay behind the toes.  Slowly return to start position and repeat.

Step Ups

Stand with tube under the involved foot on step. Grasp exercise handles at waist level.  Raise yourself up on the step and slowly return to the start position.  Repeat three times and change legs.
