Lower Body Exercises - Page 2

Lunges Place
the door anchor in the middle of the tubing with the handles on
either end. Secure the door anchor at chest level.
Facing away form the door, grasp handles at shoulder
level. Step forward with the involved leg and lower
yourself until your thigh is parallel to the floor. Keep
your knee behind your toes. Return to the start position
and then step forward with the opposite leg. Repeat. |

Hip Internal
Rotation
Remove handles and
door anchor. Sit in the chair with the tube around
involved ankle and tied to front leg of chair. Grasp sides
of chair with both hands. With involved foot, cross over
opposite foot, keeping thigh on chair. Slowly return to
start position and repeat. |

Hip External
Rotation Sit in
the chair with tube around opposite ankle. Kick out and
away, keeping thigh on chair. Slowly return to start
position and repeat. |

Seated Hip Flexion
Sit in chair with
middle of the tube on the top of the thigh. Allow both
ends to drop to the floor and place under foot. Raise the
involved knee slowly toward the ceiling. Return to start
position and repeat. |
